What We Believe

• We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, the only rule for faith and life.
• We believe that Jesus Christ is the only Saviour of sinners and the sovereign Lord over all people and nations.
• We are called Reformed because we stand in the stream of the Protestant Reformation, seeking to apply the truth of Scripture faithfully and comprehensively to all of life.
• We are called Presbyterian because our church is governed by elders, who are called by God and recognised by His people to provide spiritual oversight and shepherding.
• We receive the Westminster Confession of Faith, together with the Larger and Shorter Catechisms, as our subordinate standards, because they faithfully summarise the teaching of Scripture.
• We are part of a Reformed Presbyterian witness in Australia, committed to the worship of God, the proclamation of the gospel, and the extension of Christ’s kingdom in this land.
