We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God and therefore the Bible is only infallible rule of faith and life.

Believing them to be a clear statement of what the Bible teaches, we accept as our subordinate standards the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Westminster Larger and Shorter Catechisms.

Additionally, we hold to the following documents as a means of doing things in our churches decently and in order. (1 Corinthians 14:40) (Click on the heading to download)

Everything we believe in the RPC Australia we believe because we think that is what Jesus taught the church should believe. We recognise we could be wrong in some of what we believe. At the same time we don’t think we are (and of course to believe things we think are wrong would be to be insane). We realise we must, and we seek to, hold our differences humbly.
If you believe differently from us, we encourage you to seek to better understand what we believe and why. Search the Bible with us. Send us a contact message, or email if you have questions.

We believe…

  • The Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the infallible Word of God and our supreme rule of faith and practice.
  • In one God, who exists in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • That Jesus Christ, through his death on the cross, has paid the penalty for sin.
  • And that all those who repent of their sins and have faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior will have everlasting life.
  • That all Christians, with the help of the Holy Spirit, should live a life that brings glory to God.
  • That Jesus Christ is the Ruler of nations and should be acknowledged as such by all.
